Sehat Guru
Description
Sehat Guru is an AI-powered fitness and nutrition companion specifically designed to address the limitations of mainstream health apps like MyFitnessPal, which often lack accurate data for South Asian diets. As health issues like diabetes rise in the region, this project aims to provide culturally relevant dietary advice through a custom dataset of over 5,000 images covering 20+ Pakistani dishes, achieving 95% accuracy in dish recognition. The system utilizes an agentic AI pipeline to deliver personalized nutritional guidance validated against certified nutritionist datasets. By combining a React Native mobile interface with a FastAPI backend, the project offers a secure, real-time solution for users to manage their health within their specific cultural and dietary contexts.
